Clinics

Dominique's French classical training perpetuates 400 years of knowledge that has been specifically handed down from trainer to trainer. Dominique and Debra Barbier are sought-after clinicians who work worldwide. Each clinic is customized to suit the needs of the participants and will include Dominique and/or Debra and the riders themselves working and riding the horses in private sessions, i.e. one-on-one, and clinics are a minimun of three days. The differences in horse and rider after just one day are remarkable.

Naturally, their clinic schedule is extremely busy so priority is awarded to those clients wishing to host a minimum of three clincs per year, which is strongly recommended for optimizing the benefits to horse and rider in terms of on-going progression.

According to Dominique Barbier, “When we encounter a difficulty, we always go back to the question 'do you want to dance with me,' because the mental agreement of the horse is fundamental. For the trainer, a clear mental image of what he wants is similarly important. As a horse's familiarity with a dance grows, he understands what is required and will enjoy it. Softness and comprehension is primordial. Understanding the needs of the horse with a lot of compassion will allow you to progress rapidly."
