Bred by Manuel Coimbra in 1992, and first imported from Portugal to Brazil, Larãpio was one of the stars of the VIII Luso-Brasileiro Auction.

A son of Distinto, who represents enviable Lusitano bloodlines, Larãpio scored 9.0 for his remarkable head during his stallion grading. He has been recognized as an exceptional breeding stallion in Portugal as well as Brazil, thanks to the results of his offspring who have themselves achieved important results in the show ring.

Larãpio is in popular demand as a sire in Europe as well as the U.S., and is available for breeding services to select mares.
